Curtis Aumiller is a member of The York Area Rose Society and serves on the board as Treasurer. He is accredited by The American Rose Society as a Horticulture Judge and Artistic Design Judge. Curtis is a Consulting Rosarian qualified to advise people in Southeastern PA on how to grow roses.
Jeff Berta - Jeff and his wife Tess started Always Summer Herbs and their wholesale flower business in 1997 with the sole mission to provide high quality, unique and fantastically huge flowers to the regional garden centers. They expanded their business to include herbs, herb teas and bees. Jeff is regular lecturer to clubs, societies, Home Shows and at the Phipps Conservatory over the past 15 years. Jeff loves teaching others about growing herbs, brewing teas, and keeping honeybees.
Sylvia Braderman studied the art of bonsai at Nature's Way Nursery. Sylvia combined her two passions, herbs and bonsai, to create "Edible Herbal Bonsai" in a Penjing style (Miniature Herbal Landscapes ). The herbal landscapes represent a combination of the Bonsai and Penjing traditions, combined with the many uses of Edible Herbs, in a new Living art-form, the "Edible Herbal Bonsai".
Susan Eggleston owner and floral designer of Sweet Annie Herbals, established in 2005 as a floral arrangement business specializing in custom designed herbal wreaths, swags and arrangements. Susan has served on the nonprofit committee of The PA Herb & Garden Festival for the past 7 years as Vice President and was recently elected as President.
Sue Houck owner of Heartwood Nursery, established in 1992 as one of the original native plant nurseries in the region, has been propagating and growing native and other species for over 25 years. The nursery resides on 70 beautiful acres near Stewartstown, PA , features a wholesale and retail operation. Educational events are held throughout the year including a Serviceberry Festival in June and Holly Festival in December.
Sue Morris - Founder and creator of Sue's Salves has had a life long interest in health and healing. Sue has a BA in Nutrition and Medical Dietetics as well as training in astrology and medieval herbalism. Being in tune with the cosmos and crafting products with the intent to heal is the foundation of her work.
Barb Steele - Barb is the owner of Alloway Creek Gardens & Herb Farm located in Littlestown PA southwest of Gettysburg. She is a nationally known herbalist and grows hundreds of varieties of herbs on her century-old farm. Alloway Creek Gardens & Herb Farm has been an ongoing business for over 20 years.
Judy Yingling - Judy is A Rose Horticulture Judge and a Rose Arrangements Judge, qualified to judge local, district and national Rose Shows of The American Rose Society. She is also a Consulting Rosarian for The American Rose Society with the knowledge to guide gardeners in growing roses and solving rose growing problems.
